ok, my attempt at this blog...
here are my entries into the Lark "500 Teapots" Book. I won't know if I made it until January 2013...keeping my fingers crossed.
details of the handle
the teapot...stands about three inches
handle of my hand built teapot
tri legged, tons of texture
this one stands about 14 inches, multiple sprayed glazes (my favorite technique)
a tea house....sold at our Mother's Day sale. my customer called it the "witch house"

My newest thoughts in clay
I found some Barbie clothes patterns at a garage sale last week and couldn't resist trying my hand at clay clothes. Understand that these are only about 4 inches tall, I didn't think to add something to see scale. Another fun aspect of this project was making the miniature hangers, not bad at all, but finding something to display them on was more of a challenge. I sold 4 clothing items this weekend at our semi annual sale. Guess I'll have to try my hand at a few more, since I purchased a display to hang them.
Today is the last day!
Don't miss it! Today is the final day for Midwest Clay Artists Spring Show and Sale!
We have had a tremendous turnout so far, but still have lots of great stuff to see. We're open today from 12:00 till 4:00. Hope to see you there!
